Dawn chorus walk coming up in April!

We are offering our annual Dawn Chorus Walk in St Annes Wood! Join us on 11th April at 5.30am to enjoy the morning spectacle.

Back for the third-year running, two local bird enthusiasts (Georgia and Russell) will lead a guided walk exploring local bird song, teach you how to identify some birds by their song, learn why birds sing, and enjoy some collective listening of this springtime wonder with other like-minded people.

This walk is open to all, there is no bird watching experience needed, please be mindful that it is happening very early in the morning (5.30am to 7.30 am) to catch the chorus at its climax.

The event is free to attend, but to support the conservation and engagement work that FoBB does, we will be collecting donations at the end of the event. Card payments will be accepted.

Please book a space for details on the meeting place and to give us an idea of numbers:
